How to Overcome or Prevent Hypothyroidism? Part 2

It’s really true that ‘Health is Wealth’. Any sickness makes life painful and reduces quality of individual’s life. In first part, hypothyroidism overview was given. In this concluding part, we’ll be examining few other aspects.

Reasons for cause of Hypothyroidism are many. We’ll look for three of them here.

1. Drugs people taking have been known for a reason to incidents of hypothyroidism. Drugs for treatment of extreme depression and mood swings can reduces amount of thyroxine produced by the thyroide gland. One of these drugs going by the name of lithium is responsible for such.

2. The second surprising cause is food that individual eat. Shocking? Eating can give Hypothyroidism?!People who suffer from hypothyroidism have been known to have a slower metabolic process in their bodies. As a result, what they eat do not get broken down very fast leading to weight gain.

3.Weight loss diets can also be responsible when you have to go the extreme to lose weight. Foods such as raw broccoli have been known to grossly affect the thyroid gland’s ability to produce the thyroxine hormone. Also on this list are radishes, raw turnips, brussel sprouts and cauliflower. All these are not very good for the thyroid gland. So take them into moderation. Limited quantity intake is alright.

If you search on any search engine you’ll find many other reasons to suit your taste. But that’s sure that it’s possible to prevent hypothyroidism with bit of knowledge. Nothing can substitute your health. It is the most important aspect of your life. So, guard it.
